YOUR DATA
Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-16
Your project records are stored on your device. Punchlist has no developer-operated cloud storage or account system in this version.
This policy describes the current iOS app and this support website, provided by the Punchlist developer.
What the app stores
Projects, issues, optional client and contact details, photos, annotations, completion evidence, reusable values, templates, settings and generated reports are stored locally. The app does not automatically upload this content to a Punchlist server. This version does not provide cross-device sync. Device backups, including any iCloud backup, depend on your Apple settings.
Camera, photos and voice
Camera and photo access are used when you capture or import images. Microphone and speech-recognition access are used when you start voice input. Apple’s on-device speech recognition is preferred; depending on device, language and availability, Apple’s online speech service may process audio. You can review and edit recognized text before saving, or use the keyboard instead.
Structured suggestions use on-device Apple capabilities where available, with local rules as a fallback. Punchlist does not send audio or project text to a developer-operated AI service. Permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.
Sharing and original photos
Files leave the app when you choose Mail, Share, Save to Files or another receiving app or service. The recipient and receiving service handle those copies separately. Reports may include the text, contact details and photos you selected. Original-photo ZIP exports preserve original photo files, which may contain metadata such as capture time or location. Review content and metadata before sharing.
Purchases and free-export records
Apple processes in-app payments under its own privacy practices. Punchlist uses verified purchase status to enable Pro features and stores free-export usage locally, including a Keychain usage record. The developer does not receive your payment-card details. Deleting reports or reinstalling the app may not reset the free-export allowance.
Analytics, tracking and support
The current app does not include a third-party analytics or advertising SDK and does not send usage analytics to the developer. It does not track you across apps or websites.
If you contact support, we receive the message, contact details and attachments you choose to send, together with email metadata supplied by your email service. We use that information to respond, investigate issues and improve the app. In-app feedback does not automatically attach project text or photos. Optional diagnostic details require your choice. Please avoid sending sensitive site or client information unless needed for your request.
Support correspondence is retained only as needed to resolve and follow up on requests, maintain necessary records or meet legal obligations. You can contact us to request deletion of correspondence, subject to those obligations.
Online feedback
Online feedback is hosted by Tally. When you open the form, Tally processes connection information to operate and secure it. When you submit, Tally stores the feedback type, message, and any email address or app version you choose to provide; the Punchlist developer can access those submissions to respond and improve the app. No project content, photos, device identifier or local feedback draft is automatically transferred from the app. The form does not request file attachments. See Tally’s privacy policy. Contact us to request deletion of feedback we hold.
This website
This static website uses no embedded analytics scripts, advertising trackers, cookies or contact-submission forms. The hosting provider may process ordinary connection data such as IP addresses and request logs to serve and secure the website. Following an external link or opening an email app is subject to that provider’s privacy practices. Any online feedback form linked here opens on its provider’s website.
Your choices and deletion
You can delete projects and reports, remove saved suggestions, clear learning history, and revoke permissions. Deleting an issue or project does not rewrite previously generated reports: delete those separately when necessary. Uninstalling the app removes its local app data, but Keychain records, Apple backups, saved exports and copies already shared may remain and must be managed separately. Keep independent copies of important records before removing data.
Because the developer does not hold your local projects, we cannot access, restore or remotely delete them. For support messages held by us, use the contact below.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change. The date above identifies the current notice. Contact the Punchlist developer for privacy questions or requests.
